The Indonesian Actuarial Journal welcomes discussion of the work it has published. Scholarly debate after publication is part of how a field corrects and advances itself, and the journal provides a formal channel for it.

How to raise a comment

Readers who wish to comment on, question, or dispute a published article may write to the editorial office at [surel redaksi], stating the article concerned and the substance of their comment.

How comments are handled

Where the Editor in Chief considers the matter to be of scientific interest, the correspondent is invited to submit a formal letter for publication, and the original authors are invited to reply. Both are published in a subsequent issue, each with its own Digital Object Identifier, so that the exchange becomes part of the permanent scholarly record and can itself be cited.

Correspondence is subject to the same editorial standards as other content and is reviewed before publication.

What is not published through this channel

The journal does not publish comments that are defamatory, that make allegations without supporting evidence, or that concern matters unrelated to the scholarly content of the article.
