Authors are invited to make a submission to the Indonesian Actuarial Journal. All submissions are assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of the journal. Those considered to be a good fit are sent to at least three reviewers under a single-blind process before a decision is made.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as figures, tables, documents, and datasets taken from other sources. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author and must meet the authorship criteria of the journal.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet the minimum standards of the journal. Manuscripts are returned before review where they do not use the official article template, where the five author declarations are incomplete, where the reference list falls short of the journal's requirements, or where the similarity check returns a score above twenty per cent excluding references and properly cited quotations.

Before submitting, please ensure that the research design and the argument are clearly structured, that the title is concise and conveys the key finding, and that the abstract can stand on its own. Full requirements on formatting, structure, declarations, and references are set out in the Author Guidelines. The article template, the Author Declaration Form, and the Author Agreement are available on the Article Template page.

The journal charges no submission fee and no article processing charge.
