The Indonesian Actuarial Journal (IAJ) has a zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism and is committed to upholding the integrity of the research publication process. All submitted manuscripts will undergo a rigorous plagiarism check using reliable detection tools, such as Turnitin or iThenticate, to ensure that the content is original and properly attributed.

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  1. Direct Plagiarism: Copying text, data, or figures from another source without appropriate citation.
  2. Self-Plagiarism: Reusing substantial parts of one's previous publications without proper acknowledgment or permission.
  3. Mosaic Plagiarism: Incorporating phrases or ideas from other works without quotation marks or citation, blending them with one’s own words.

Authors found to have committed plagiarism may face serious consequences, including rejection of their manuscript, retraction of published articles, and reporting to relevant institutions or organizations. The IAJ emphasizes the importance of ethical research practices and expects authors to provide clear and proper citations for all references, data, and contributions that are not their own.
