The Indonesian Actuarial Journal is published twice a year, in July and in December. Each issue contains a minimum of five articles.

The journal has been published without interruption since 2025 and adheres to this schedule other than in exceptional circumstances, which would be announced on this page.

Continuous processing and pre-publication

Manuscripts are processed continuously rather than held until an issue is assembled. Once an article reaches its final form, it is published online as an Article in Press within the issue in progress, with its Digital Object Identifier registered and its full text available, before the issue is formally closed on its publication date.

This allows accepted work to be read, indexed, and cited without waiting for the issue date, and allows authors to claim copyright in their published article at the earliest opportunity.

The journal does not publish abstract-only content, and does not insert articles into issues that have already been published.
