About Journal

The Indonesian Actuarial Journal (IAJ) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal published twice a year by Persatuan Aktuaris Indonesia. It publishes original research in actuarial science, in both its theoretical and applied forms, and serves actuaries in practice and in research across Indonesia and the wider region.

Ownership and Management

The Indonesian Actuarial Journal is owned and published by Persatuan Aktuaris Indonesia, also known in English as The Society of Actuaries of Indonesia, a professional association of actuaries established under Indonesian law.

The journal is managed by the Technical Team under the Komisi Standar Praktik of Persatuan Aktuaris Indonesia. Day-to-day management is carried out by the Editor in Chief, supported by the Managing Editor, the Editorial Board, and the Layout Editor. The organisation of these roles and the authority attached to each is set out in the journal’s internal terms of reference.

The journal is not owned by, and does not act on behalf of, any commercial publisher, sponsor, or third-party service provider. The publisher does not intervene in editorial decisions, which rest with the Editor in Chief on academic grounds alone.
