The Indonesian Actuarial Journal is committed to the long-term availability of everything it publishes, including in the event that the journal ceases to operate.

The journal preserves its content in three ways:

  • the journal participates in the PKP Preservation Network, a distributed archiving system operated by the Public Knowledge Project, which preserves the full content of the journal across multiple independent nodes;
  • the journal platform is backed up regularly by the publisher, covering both the database and the uploaded files; and
  • metadata for every article is deposited with Crossref, and is openly available for harvesting through the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting.

Authors are encouraged to deposit the published version of their article in an institutional or subject repository, which adds a further independent copy to the record. The licence under which the journal publishes permits this without further permission.
